Arrest Reports

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Dept. or Jackson County Sheriff’s Dept. made the following arrests April 4 - April 13. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department

April 9

Phyllis Rena Garrison, 30, of Sleep Orchard Road, was charged with accessory after the fact. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest.

Chad T. Moses, 26, of Horseshoe Ridge Road, was charged with failure to appear in court. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. Patrick Merritt made the arrest.

April 10

Kaleb Scott Clark, 25, of Van Raalt Street, was charged with failure to appear in court; driving while license revoked, resisting a public officer, identity theft, possession of a stolen firearm. A secured bond of $35,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Jamie Wesley Williams, 26, of Scruffie Drive, was charged with failure to appear in court - fugitive from other state: possession of a schedule I controlled substance. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

April 11

Austin Scott Groom, 25, of Blue Bird Lane, was served with a fugitive warrant. A secured bond of $25,000 was set. Ryan Angel made the arrest.

Sarah Lynne Wisman, 23, of Jim Corbin Road, was charged with resisting arrest. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Dereck Jones made the arrest.

Daniel Garcia Escobar, 42, of Burnette Road, was charged with driving while impaired. An unsecured bond of $1,500 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest.

April 12

Staci Donnell Moore, 45, of Fred Dalton Road, was served with a fugitive warrant. A secured bond of $4,000 was set. Cody Mitchell made the arrest.

Jerry Lee Fuller, Jr., 36, of Ceasar Road, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set. Jacob Bowers made the arrest.

April 13

Vanessa Dawn Ensley, 22, of Old Georgia Road, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, false representation of drugs, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 ounce. A secured bond of $8,000 was set. Cody Mitchell made the arrest.

Nathan Royal Prevette, 37, of Old Georgia Road, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to sell/distribute counterfeit controlled substances, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, communicating threats. A secured bond of $16,000 was set. Cody Mitchell made the arrest.

Jesus Cortez, 34, of Trout Creek Road, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set. Joshua Stewart made the arrest.

Franklin Police Department

April 4

Samuel Lopez-Alvarado, 21, of Puma Trail, was charged with no operator’s license. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Elija Kirkland made the arrest.

April 8

Daniel Edward William Stanfield, 20, of Norris Road, was charged with larceny, possessing stolen property, possessing paraphernalia. An unsecured bond of $5,000 was set. Jonathan Bean made the arrest.

April 10

David Randy Grindstaff, 29, of Porter Street, was charged with disorderly conduct. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. Matthew Breedlove made the arrest.

April 12

Margarito Morales Martinez, 37, of Carolina Mountain Drive, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, failure to appear in court. A secured bond of $50,000 was set. Jonathan Bean made the arrest.

April 13

Wendy Lynn Goodrich, 34, of Belle View Road, was charged with intoxicated and disruptive. An unsecured bond was set. Devin Holland made the arrest.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

April 8

Jeana Lee Cooper, 26, of Old Asheville Highway, was charged with failure to appear in court; simple assault. A secured bond of $2,000 was set.

Jimmy Dale Reed, 34, of Wrights Creek, was charged with failure to appear in court; driving while license revoked. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Johnathan Jones made the arrest.

April 9

Dylan Keith Wahnetah, 28, of Tom McCoy Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; operating a vehicle with no insurance. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Ernest Scherman, III, made the arrest.

Juanita Jane Wolfe, 50, of Galamore Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; uttering forged endorsement, forgery instrument. A secured bond of $8,000 was set. Megan Rhinehart made the arrest.

Kimberly Lynn Scruggs, 34, of Iron Mountain Drive, was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, larceny. No bond was set. Megan Rhinehart made the arrest.

Doris Ann Shelton, 54, of Cullowhee Mountain Road, was charged with communicating threats. No bond was set. John Beegle Jr. made the arrest.

James Adam Brooks, 31, of Sutton Branch, was charged with assault on a female. A secured bond of $1,500 was set. Brandon Elders made the arrest.

April 10

Justin Ryan Huskey, 26, of Williamson Road, was issued a true bill of indictment for fictitious/alternative title/registration card/tag. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Megan Rhinehart made the arrest.

Constance Rebekah Birchfield, 20, of Woodland Drive, was charged with domestic simple assault. No bond was set. James Henry made the arrest.

Elizabeth Ann Queen, 29, of Allman Road, was charged with failure to appear in court. A secured bond of $1,500 was set. John Beegle Jr. made the arrest.

Ashley Rebecca Ogle, 28, of Shoal Creek Road, was charged with resisting a public officer. A written promise was given. Tyson Crawford made the arrest.

April 11

April 12

Joshua Craig Cook, 22, of Parker Farm Road, was charged with obtaining property by false pretense, possession of stolen goods/property, larceny after breaking and entering, forcible breaking and entering. A secured bond of $35,000 was set. Robert Nicholson made the arrest.

Barbara Heather Luker, 30, of Acreswood Park, was charged with larceny. A written promise was given. Sean Bryson made the arrest.

Ross William Marks, 63, of Lakeside Circle, was charged with failure to display tag, possession of open container, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Daniel Wellmon made the arrest.

April 13

Manuel Tovar Palacios, 68, of Fred Smith Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; no operator’s license, open container after consuming alcohol. A secured bond of $500 was set. Kenneth Woodring made the arrest.

Fabian Silverio Moreno, 32, of Wolftown Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; no operators license. A secured bond of $500 was set. Kyle Efird made the arrest.
