The Franklin Police Department, the Macon County Sheriff’s Department, the Highlands Police Department and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests April 26-May 6.

Franklin Police Department

April 26

Steven Elmon Vanhook, 36, of Ulco Bluffs Apt., was charged with possession of weapons of mass destruction and possession of firearms by a felon. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. Brett Holcombe made the arrest.

April 27

Alexander Carlos, 20, of Harrison Ave., was charged with injury to real property. An unsecured bond was set. Justin Norman made the arrest.

Macon County Sheriff’s Office

May 2

Sara Anna Kent, 19, of Sunland Dr., was charged with court violations. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Tracy Burt made the arrest.

Jenna Paige Mashburn, 20, of Trimont Trl., was charged with trafficking opium, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to sell, manufacture or distribute a schedule II controlled substance and maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for a controlled substance. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. Blake Buchanan made the arrest.

Jordan Hall, 26, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking opium and maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for a controlled substance. A secured bond of 30,000 was set. Blake Buchanan made the arrest.

May 4

John Henry Tyte Jr., 21, of Franklin, was charged with contempt of court. A secured bond of $8,000 was set. Terry Smith made the arrest.

May 6

Sandra Elaine McCormick, 18, of Palmer Rd., was charged with possession of a controlled substance in jail and probation violation. A secured bond of $4,000 was set. Matthew Canzone made the arrest.

Highlands Police Department

May 5

Joshua Warren Mcdowell, 31, of 215 Cook Road, Highlands, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. R.L. Forrester made the arrest.

Juan Pablo Perez, 40, of 1896 Franklin Road, Highlands, was charged with DWI. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Kevin Breedlove made the arrest.

Jackson County Arrests

April 30

Gary Stephen Bryson, 39, of Elm St., was charged with resisting a public officer. A secured bond of 1,000 was set. Stephen Watson made the arrest.

May 1

Jerry Joe Keefer, 19, of Jones St., was charged with simple assault. A unsecured bond was set. Andrew Parker made the arrest.
