Arrest Reports

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Dept. or Jackson County Sheriff’s Dept. made the following arrests Oct. 6- Oct. 13. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department

October 6

Richard Frank Sanford Jr., 31, of Hayes Mills Road, was charged with breaking and entering, contempt of court. No bond was set. Cody Mitchell made the arrest.

October 8

Dakota Charles Mathis, 21, of Willow Cove Road, was charged with breaking and entering. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Charles Everett Grant, II, 35, of Cat Creek Road, was charged with assault on a female, communicating threats. A secured bond of $750 was set. Ryan Angel made the arrest.

October 9

Jeremy Adam Burr, 32, of Mercer Road, was charged with military desertion, possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set. Blake Buchanan made the arrest.

October 10

Leigh Anna Stewart, 32, of Highhaven Lane, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, school attendance law violation. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Kimberly Osborne made the arrest.

October 13

Walando Alsca Kenney, 25, of Gainsville, Ga, was charged with probation violation. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. Matthew Canzone made the arrest.

Jacob Lee Farmer, 21, of Burning Ridge Drive, was charged with abduction of children. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Anthony Hopkins made the arrest.

Kristopher Erik Prince, 22, of Lyle Downs Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; driving while impaired, driving left of center, driving while license revoked - not impaired revocation. A secured bond of $14,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

October 6

Jonell Edmonds, 58, of Ronnie Vanhook Road, was charged with driving while impaired. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Kevin Breedlove made the arrest.

Stephen Carson Doorley, 54, of Tiger Ga., was charged with possessing/concealing weapons, possession of a firearm by a felon. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Matthew Breedlove made the arrest.

Christopher Shawn Ledford, 35, of Lake Ledford Road, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $500 was set. Matthew Breedlove made the arrest.

October 8

Jamie Lamar Bennet, 38, of Tallent Street, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, driving while license revoked. A secured bond of $3,250 was set. Kevin Breedlove made the arrest.

Amanda J. Douglass, 24, of Terrell Road, was charged with larceny. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Justin Norman made the arrest.

Clay Alan Lickteig, 51, of Laural Branch Road, was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance. A secured bond of $1,500 was set. Kevin Breedlove made the arrest.

Benjamin John Cagle, 34, of Kirkland’s Cove Road, was charged with burglary, possession of a schedule III controlled substance on jail premises, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $6,000 was set. Jonathan Bean made the arrest.

Michael Timothy Crane Jr., 38, of Old Murphy Road, was charged with attempted larceny, second degree trespassing. A secured bond of $10,500 was set. Kevin Breedlove made the arrest.

October 6

Corey Mills, 22, of Scotts Creek Trailer Park, was charged with failure to appear in court; assault with a deadly weapon, communicating threats. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Tyson Crawford made the arrest.

Curtis Bradford Smith, 37, of Lee Street, was charged with larceny, larceny of ginseng. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Van Anthony made the arrest.

Courtney Joe Kimmel, 23, of Tulip Lane, was charged with possessing/concealing stolen property, larceny after breaking and entering, breaking and entering. A secured bond was set. Dwight McMahan made the arrest.

Paul Gregory Newton, 22, of Concord Road, was charged with attempting to obtain property by false pretense. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Johnathan Jones made the arrest.

Charles Randy Hughes, 57, of Shoal Creek Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; failure to report an accident. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Daniel Wellmon made the arrest.

Caressa Anne Davis, 41, of Kallup McCoy Road, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possessing of less than 1/2 ounce of marijuana, possessing/concealing nontaxable liquor, trespassing, larceny of ginseng. A secured bond of $6,000 was set Josh Yopp made the arrest.

Joseph Curtis McCoy, 44, of Kallup McCoy Road, was charged with with possession of drug paraphernalia, possessing of less than 1/2 ounce of marijuana, possessing/concealing non-taxable liquor, trespassing, larceny of ginseng. A secured bond of $6,000 was set Josh Yopp made the arrest.

Johnathan Lee Smith, 20, of Pearlwood Drive ,was charged with simple physical assault, assault by strangulation. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Daniel Wellmon made the arrest.

Randal Lewis Marrinan, 46, of Westridge Road, was charged with sex offender on same premises as a child. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Van Anthony made the arrest.

Paul Gregory Newton, 22, of Concord Road, was charged with forgery of an instrument, uttering a forged endorsement. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Van Anthony made the arrest.

William Daniel Rossello, 25, of Dumplin Flats Road, was charged with assault on a female, injury to personal property. No bond was set. Kenneth Woodring made the arrest.

William Joseph Conner, 23, of River Park, was charged with failure to appear in court; driving while license revoked, resisting a public officer, possession of a controlled substance in prison/jail premises, possession of methamphetamine, larceny. A secured bond of $8,000 was set. Megan Rhinehart made the arrest.

William Nathaniel Ensley, 36, of Gene Crowe Drive, was charged with failure to appear in court; larceny, possession of marijuana. A secured bond of $21,000 was set. Josh Yopp made the arrest.

Roger Clay Bryson, 61, of Whisper Wind Road, was charged with discharging a weapon causing serious bodily injury, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or seriously injure. A secured bond of $250,000 was set. Scottie Holder made the arrest.

William Howard Pressley, 33, of Leonard David Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; assault on a female, expired registration card/tag, driving left of center. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Kenneth Woodring made the arrest.

James Adam Brooks, 31, of Mimosa Lane, was charged with assault on a female, assault with a deadly weapon, failure to appear in court; second degree trespassing, assault on a female. No bond was set. Brandon Hooper made the arrest.
