The Macon County Sheriff’s Office, Franklin Police Department and Jackson County Sheriff’s Office made the following arrests September 16-October 1. Note that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Office

September 25

Ian Sloan Nixon, 26, homeless, was charged with breaking and entering, second degree trespassing, larceny and possession of stolen property. A secured bond of $3,500 was set. Johnathan Phillips made the arrest.

Ty Michael Norman, 16, of Davis Rd., was charged with weapons on educational property and communicating threats. No bond information given. Dani Burrows made the arrest.

Phillip Custer Gates III, 37, of St. John’s Church Rd., was charged with felony worthless checks and obtaining property under false pretenses. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Mike Langley made the arrest.

September 26

Scott Houston Conard, 29, of Flat Mountain Rd., was charged with probation violation. A secured bond of $15,000 was set. Dereck Jones made the arrest.

Zachary Robert Downs, 29, of Wide Horizon Rd., was charged with injury to personal property, trespassing, domestic criminal trespassing, breaking and/or entering and assault on a female. No bond was set. Mike Langley made the arrest.

Kimberly Hope Williamson, 25, of Rattlesnake Knob Rd., was charged with failure to pay child support. A secured bond of $300 was set. Mike Langley made the arrest.

September 27

Charles Kiah Edwards, 36 of Galamore Bridge Rd., was charged with failure to appear in court. A secured bond was set. Patrick Meritt made the arrest.

Amanda Danielle Coleman, 25, of Highlands Rd., was charged with failure to appear in court and having no operator’s license. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Thomas Tenhagen made the arrest.

Bobby Earl Burnley, 41, of Franklin, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to appear in court. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Adam Crawford made the arrest.

Kirk Daniel McPhail, 35, of Gale Trl., was charged with assault inflicting serious injury and failure to appear in court. A secured bond of $2,000 was set.

September 28

Sandra Elaine McCormick, 18, of Skeenah Rd., was charged with burglary, larceny and possession of stolen property. A secured bond of $18,000 was set. Johnathan Phillips made the arrest.

Nathan Shane Humphries, 19, of Sprinkle Rd., was charged with burglary, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, larceny and possession of stolen property. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. Johnathan Phillips made the arrest.

Joshua Cataldo Smith, 19, of Skeenah Rd., was charged with second degree burglary, second degree trespassing and possession of stolen goods. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. Matthew Canzone made the arrest.

Morgan Cowart, 17, of Sprinkle Rd., was charged with second degree burglary, larceny, possession of stolen goods. A secured bond of $12,000 was set. Matthew Canzone made the arrest.

Michael Hubert Ackley, 34, of Day Lily Ln., was charged with making harassing phone calls and cyberstalking. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Anthony Hopkins made the arrest.

September 29

Scotty Jason Elliot, 30, of Patton Creekside Ln., was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest.

October 1

Susan Eipper Courtney, 48, of Grandview Acres Rd., was charged with obtaining money under false pretenses, identity theft, financial card fraud, possession of stolen property and larceny. A secured bond of $15,000 was set. Jacob Bowers made the arrest.

Corey Jason Watts, 22, of Clarks Chapel Rd., was issued a true bill of indictment. A secured bond of $25,000 was set. Matthew Canzone made the arrest.

September 30

Dennis Wayne Sturgis, 29, of Northshore Rd., was charged with assault on a female and communicating threats. A secured bond of $500 was set. Brett Holcombe made the arrest.

Samuel Enoch Reed, 22, of Enoch Sampson Rd., was charged with failure to appear in court. A secured bond of $500 was set. James Henry made the arrest.

Luis Marcelo Huayamave, 37, of Riverbend Rd., was charged with possessing or concealing wine or a malt beverage and driving while license revoked. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Donald Allen made the arrest.

Mark Franks, 21, of Riverpark Trailer Park, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was issued. Tyson Crawford made the arrest.

Regina Cheyenne Crowe, 20, of Dewitt Owl Rd., was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. An unsecured bond was set. Dwight McMahan made the arrest.

Charissa Ann Newman, 28, of Wilkesdale St., was charged with driving while license revoked, misdemeanor larceny and drug violations. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Brandon Elders made the arrest.
