The Macon County Sheriff’s Office or Franklin Police Department made the following arrests November 8-14. Note that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Macon County Sheriff’s Office
November 13
William Cody Byers, 17, of Lake Emory Rd., was charged with indecent exposure. No bond information was given. Mike Langley made the arrest.
November 14
Ricky Lee Fouts, 52, of Hazel Fouts Rd., was charged with second degree murder. A secured bond of $125,000 was set. Joshua Stewart made the arrest.
Donald Lee Dowdle, 33, of Chalk Hill Rd., was charged with failure to pay child support. No bond information was given. Mike Langley made the arrest.
Franklin Police Department
November 8
Matthew Owen Carpenter, 24, of Riverview Rd., was charged with failure to appear in court. A secured bond of $3,500 was set. Timothy Lynn made the arrest.
November 9
Jason Dale Jackson, 26, of Westwood Dr., was charged with larceny shoplifting. A secured bond of $4,000 was set. Dwayne Cabe made the arrest.
