Arrest Reports Arrest Report: September 9 through September 16, 2013

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests Sept. 9-Sept. 16. Note that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department

September 10

Alex Livorio Rivera, 21, of Terrell Street, was charged with possession with intent to sell/distribute marijuana, simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $4,000 was set. Adam Crawford made the arrest.

Clyde Maxel Sumner Jr., 57, of Coweeta Lab Road, was charged with assault on a female. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. Brent Holbrooks made the arrest.

Melvin Felton Butts, 20, of Charlotte, N.C., was charged with possession of 5+ counterfeit instruments, attempting to obtain property by false pretense. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Brent Holbrooks made the arrest.

September 11

Nathan Keith Vega, 28, of Oolthewah, Tenn., was charged with attempted aggravated statutory rape. A secured bond of $40,000 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest.

Jordan Mae Kellum, 17, of Deer Run, was charged with larceny of Wells Fargo credit card. No bond was set. Troy Burt made the arrest.

September 12

Basilio Castillo, 36, of Cook’s Mobile Home Park, was charged with driving while impaired, no operators license. A secured bond of $500 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest.

September 13

Barney Vernon Mooring, 58, of Paddock Road, was charged with larceny, possession of stolen property. A secured bond of $1,500 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest.

September 14

Jesse Daniel Frantz, 20, Coweeta Lake Circle, was charged with child abuse. A secured bond of $500. Adam Crawford made the arrest.

September 15

William Thomas Gilbert, 34, of Brendle Road, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Joshua Stewart made the arrest.

September 16

Larry Nicholas Queen, 19, of Otto Heights Road, was charged with larceny. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Patrick Merritt made the arrest.

Franklin Police Department

September 13

Damion Ryan Allen Collins, 18, of Bumgarner Lane, was charged with larceny by an employee. A secured bond of $750 was set. Devin Holland made the arrest.

Thomas Joseph Mehle, 28, of Bryson City, N.C., was charged with misdemeanor larceny, possession of stolen goods. A written promise was given. Brett Holcombe made the arrest.

September 14

Lucas McCullie Nicholson, 27, of Sylva, N.C., was charged with driving while impaired, driving while licensed revoked, giving fictitious information to an officer. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Brett Holcombe made the arrest.

September 15

Lucas Claude Leatherman, 30, of Brushy Branch Road, was charged with driving while impaired. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Jonathan Bean made the arrest.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

September 9

Brianna Jade Bradley, 20, of Saunooke Drive, was charged with possessing drug paraphernalia, maintaining a vehicle/ dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of a schedule II controlled substance. A written promise was given. Tyson Crawford made the arrest.

Harvey Douglas Bumgarner, 28, of Salt Rock Road, was charged with failure to pay child support. A secured bond was set. Daniel Wellmon made the arrest.

Rush Van Allen, 22, of Cullowhee Mountain Road, was charged with communicating threats, injury to personal property. An unsecured bond was set. Sean Bryson made the arrest.

Justin Charles Brooks, 30, of Mimosa Lane, was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance. A secured bond of $1,500 was set. Kenneth Woodring made the arrest.

Thomas Joseph Martin, 35, of Munchkin Lane, was charged with failure to appear in court; reckless driving to endanger, cancelled/revoked tag, operating a vehicle with no insurance, failure to wear a seat belt. A secured bond of $1,500 was set. James Henry made the arrest.

Nathan Luke Queen, 32, of Old Fanning Bridge Road, was charged with driving while license revoked, fictitious tag. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Daniel Wellmon made the arrest.

September 10

Talmage Lee Middleton, 32, of Goondock Road, was charged with simple assault. No bond was set. Brandon Hooper made the arrest.

Charles Alan Smith, 34, of Pyramid Place, was charged with driving while license revoked, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance. A secured bond of $100,000 was set. James Henry made the arrest.

Jamie Lynn Swartz, 34, of Buff Creek Road, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiring to traffic methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver marijuana, possession with intent to sell/manufacture/deliver methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine. A secured bond of $100,000 was set. James Henry made the arrest.

September 11

Emily Sue Torrans, 22, of Devin Drive, was charged with conspiracy, larceny, breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, larceny of a motor vehicle. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Rollie James, III, made the arrest.

Brady Lee Fortner, 19, of Poker Branch, was charged with possession of stole goods, misdemeanor larceny, breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. A secured bond of $60,000 was set. Brandon Elders made the arrest.

Jean Elizabeth Bolden, 27, of Old Soco Road, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 ounce. A secured bond was set. Brandon Elders made the arrest.

Benjamin Robert Johnson, 26, of Aurora Lane, was charged with resisting a public officer, assault on a governmental official, assault on a female. No bond was set. Rollie James, III, made the arrest.

Amanda Lee Eaton, 32, of Medallion Drive, was charged with financial card theft. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Rollie James, III, made the arrest.

Jamie Wesley Williams, 26, of Music Lane, was charged with failure to appear in court; probation violation. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Rollie James, III, made the arrest.

Dennis William Gulvin, 51, of Mystery Mountain Drive, was charged with second degree trespassing. A written promise was given. William Hawkins made the arrest.

Larry Lynn Nations, 56, of Cocoa Lane, was charged with second degree trespassing. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Andrew Parker made the arrest.

David Alan Hughes, 25, of Webster Estates, was charged with possession of stolen goods. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Tyson Crawford made the arrest.

Dora Nations, 51, of Cocoa Lane, was charged with second degree trespassing. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Andrew Parker made the arrest.

September 12

Andrea Lynn Dealto, 24, of Allman Road, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to appear in court; assault with a deadly weapon, injury to personal property. A secured bond was set. Ernest Scherman, III, made the arrest.

September 13

Jeffrey Harold Tollefson, 37, of Trinity Drive, was charged with possession of stolen goods/property, larceny after breaking and entering, attempted breaking and entering, obtaining property by false pretense, larceny of a motor vehicle, felony larceny. No bond was set. Andrew Parker made the arrest.

Gina Kay Franks, 37, of Garland Buchanan Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; possession of stolen goods/property, misdemeanor larceny. A secured bond was set. Andrew Parker made the arrest.

Henry Tucker Clay, 22, of North Fork New River Road, was charged with driving while impaired, resisting a public officer, assault on a government official, offering bribes. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. William Hawkins made the arrest.

Micheal Littlejohn, 52, of Ruth Sneed Lane, was charged with failure to appear in court; intoxicated and disruptive, second degree trespassing. A secured bond of $250 was set. Stephen Watson made the arrest.

September 15

Quinton Earl Barker, 19, of Pine Tree Apartments, was charged with possession/concealing stolen property, misdemeanor larceny, forcible breaking and entering of a vehicle. A secured bond of $40,000 was set. James Henry made the arrest.

Misty May Albritton, 29, of Reeves Road, was charged with second degree trespassing, larceny of ginseng. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. James Henry made the arrest.

Dustin Shawn Ingle, 26, of White Oak Ridge, was charged with communicating threats, harassing phone calls, second degree trespassing, larceny of ginseng. A secured bond of $4,500 was set. James Henry made the arrest.
