The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests Oct. 27-Nov. 5. Note that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department

October 31

Larry McColgin, 62, of Lake Shore Drive, was charged with possession of stolen goods/property. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Tracy Burt made the arrest.

Justin Carver, 17, of Mica City Road, was charged with disorderly conduct. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. Troy Burt made the arrest.

Robert Charles Tallent, 16, of Lloyd Tallent Road, was charged with disorderly conduct on a school bus. A written promise was given. Troy Burt made the arrest.

Tyler Ward Chandler, 16, of Lyle Mill Road, was charged with disorderly conduct on a school bus. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. Troy Burt made the arrest.

November 1

Robert Vincent Smith, 32, of Kirkland Road, was charged with assault and battery, injury to personal property. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Joshua Stewart made the arrest.

Donald Eugene Miller, 56, of Hale Ridge Road, was charged with assault on a female, resisting a public officer. No bond was set. Tracy Burt made the arrest.

Michael Roper Bickley, 21, of Dendy Orchard Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; inmate possession of tobacco, misdemeanor larceny. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Adam Crawford made the arrest.

Nancy Watty Garcia, 59, of Lee Bates Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; driving while license revoked, fictitious/alternative registration/card/tag. A secured bond of $500 was set. Matthew Canzone made the arrest.

Larry Craig McColgin, 62 of Lake Shore Drive, was charged with possession of stolen property. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Matthew Canzone made the arrest.

Andrew Patrick Dempsey, 31, of Watauga Cove Road, was charged with misdemeanor larceny, possession of stolen goods/property. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Chad Thomas Moses, 25, of Meadow Wood Circle, was charged with failure to appear in court; breaking and entering, driving while license revoked. A secured bond of $28,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

November 2

Sarah Lynn Wisman, 22, of Jim Corbin Road, was charged with resisting a public officer. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Brandon William Holland, 24, of Elizabeth Drive, was charged with burglary, larceny after breaking and entering, larceny of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle, obtaining property by a false pretense, injury to real property. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. Patrick Merritt made the arrest.

Rondy Lee Chastain, 24, of Robbinsville, N.C., was charged with simple possession of a schedule VI controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to appear in court; simple worthless check. A secured bond of $1,750 was set. Matthew Canzone made the arrest.

Roberta Irene Wolfe, 40, of Terrell Road, was charged with failure to appear in court. A secured bond of $1,500 was set. Timothy Lynn made the arrest.

Michael Shayn Macko, 23, of Windy Gap Road, was charged with operating a vehicle with no insurance, allowing vehicle to be driven with no registration, fictions/alternative title/registration card/tag, drug violations - possession of equipment/paraphernalia, simple possession of marijuana, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, possession of a schedule II controlled substance - methamphetamine.
