Arrest Reports Arrest Report: November 11 through November 17, 2013

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests Nov. 11-Nov. 17. Note that all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department

November 11

Johnathan Ray Turpin, 20, of Rose Creek Road, was charged with assault by pointing a gun, assault on a female, communicating threats. An unsecured bond of $4,000 was set. Joel Lynch made the arrest.

November 14

Joseph Matthew Swafford, 37, of Branchwood Drive, was charged with failure to report new address - sex offender. A secured bond of $9,000 was set. Jacob Bowers made the arrest.

November 15

Erin Miranda Willis, 31, of Love Street, was charged with having an unrestrained dangerous dog. A written promise was given. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Nicole Ann Whitworth, 22, of Old Murphy Road, was charged with making a false report. A written promise was given. Anthony Hopkins made the arrest.

November 16

Nancy Ann Ammons, 47, of Old Murphy Road, was charged with making a false report. A written promise was given. Patrick Merritt made the arrest.

Regina Leigh Sanders, 30, of Tattnail Road, was charged with breaking and entering, trespassing, assault inflicting serious injury. An unsecured bond of $5,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Joshua Ray Fitch, 28, of Belle Dowdle Road, was charged with misdemeanor larceny, obtaining property by false pretense, injury to tree/crops/land, possession of stolen goods/property. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

November 17

Raul Rios Vasquez, 23, of Collins Lane, was charged with driving while impaired, no operator’s license, speeding, transporting an open container. No bond was set. Blake Buchanan made the arrest.

Andrew Whitworth, 27, of Old Murphy Road, was charged with no operator’s license, making a false report. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. Matthew Canzone made the arrest.

Franklin Police Department

November 13

Ernest Harvey Allen, 64, of Kelly Cove Road, was charged with contributing alcohol beverage to a minor. A secured bond of $500 was set. Jonathan Bean made the arrest. Courtney Ann Stamey, 23, of Magnolia Lane, was charged with larceny by an employee. An unsecured bond of $4,000 was set. Devin Holland made the arrest.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

November 11

Garrett Andrew Pate, 21, of Pigeon Lane, was charged with failure to appear in court; operating a vehicle with no insurance. A secured bond of $250 was set. Rollie James, III, made the arrest.

Joshua Stephen Henderson, 28, of Gail Drive, was charged with failure to appear in court; driving while license revoked, speeding. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Rollie James, III, made the arrest.

Jerry Lee Lossiah, 34, of Wilbur Sequoyah Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; fictitious registration, driving while license revoked. A secured bond of $1,500 was set. Tyson Crawford made the arrest.

November 12

William Johnny Webb, 44, of Pigeon Lane, was charged with embezzlement. An unsecured bond of $4,000 was set. Shannon Queen made the arrest.

Alexander Thomas White, 21, of Tapstry Drive, was issued a true bill of indictment. No bond was set. Dwight McMahan made the arrest.

Jeffrey Spencer Green, 41, of Slabtown Road, was issued a child support purge order. A secured bond of $2,842 was set. Kyle Efird made the arrest.

Brandy Nations Crowe, 37, of Ashe Loop Road, was charged with assault inflicting serious injury in the presence of a minor. A secured bond of $1,500 was set. Tyson Crawford made the arrest.

Justin Allen Holmes, 28, of Forrest Cove Road, was charged with simple assault. An unsecured bond was set. Tyson Crawford made the arrest.

November 13

Timothy Carl Alexander, 20, of Lowell Street, was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, first degree burglary, larceny after breaking and entering, forcible breaking and entering. A secured bond of $50,000 was set. Sean Bryson made the arrest.

Alexander Michael Walser, 19, of Catamount Peaks Apartments, was charged with conspiring to break and enter, larceny after breaking and entering, forcible breaking and entering, burglary. A secured bond of $50,000 was set.

William Bryan Maney, 24, of Slim Dillard Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; driving while license revoked. A secured bond of $4,000 was set.

Alexander Michael Walser, 19, of Walker Dorm, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $7,000 was set. Jonathan Fox made the arrest.

Jesse Lonnie Harkens, 23, of Mill Creek Road, was charged with felony probation violation. A secured bond of of $15,000 was set. Robert Nicholson made the arrest.

Thomas Mancini, 33, of Tielua Heights, was issued a child support purge order of $1,846. Johnathan Jones made the arrest. November 14

John Preston Rickman, 26, of Catolster Johnson Road, was charged with selling/distributing stolen property. No bond was set. Ricky Buchanan made the arrest.

Nika Marie Welch, 23, of Lindy Heights Road, was charged with possession of drug equipment/paraphernalia, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/distribute a schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/distribute a schedule IV controlled substance, conspiring to sell/deliver a schedule II controlled substance, conspiring to sell/deliver a schedule IV controlled substance. A secured bond of $25,000 was set. Daniel Wellmon made the arrest.

Keith Richard Fulford, 47, of Pineview Road, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/distribute a schedule IV controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/distribute a schedule II controlled substance, conspiring to sell/deliver a schedule II controlled substance, conspiring to sell/deliver a schedule IV controlled substance. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. Brandon Hooper made the arrest.

November 15

Ashley Nicole Ledford, 21, of Violet Drive, was issued a purge of child support of $350. Rollie James, III, made the arrest.

Kyle James Shorette, 18, of Mobile, Alabama, was charged as a fugitive. A secured bond of $40,000 was set. Rollie James, III, made the arrest.

Michael Wayne Moody, 55, of Rock Quarry Road, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Andrew Parker made the arrest.

Eric Anthony Dossett, 21, of Touchstone Way, was charged with probation violation. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. Tyson Crawford made the arrest.

November 17

Katelynn Hope Ledford, 22, of Hilda Queen Road, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting/ obstructing/delaying, possession of a schedule II controlled substance. A secured bond of $6,000 was set. Darrell Brooks made the arrest.

Milton Carrol Gibson, 52, of Sterling Drive, was charged with communicating threats, resisting a public officer. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. John Beegle Jr. made the arrest.

Samantha Rene Larch, 19, of Old #4 Road, was charged with failure to appear in court; injury to real property, simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of stolen goods, larceny after breaking and entering, conspiring to commit breaking and entering, breaking and entering, felony larceny. A secured bond of $100,000 was set. Darrell Brooks made the arrest.

Ricky Lee Sanchez, 47, of Blackhawk Road, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Kyle Effird made the arrest.
