Arts & Entertainment ‘Harvey’ staged at Highlands Playhouse

The second show of the Highlands Playhouse’s 73rd season is set to open this Thursday, July 14.

“Harvey,” is a delightful play about a man, Elwood P. Dowd, who claims to have an unseen (and presumably imaginary) friend named Harvey, who happens to be a six foot 3 ½ inch tall rabbit.

The play won a Pulitzer Prize for drama, as well as made into a film classic starring James Stewart.

Frank Collison, a familiar face of film and television, is starring as Elwood. Collison has been seen in many recent films including; “The Happening,” “The Village,” and “O Brother, Where Art Thou.” Collison was also a series regular on “Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman.”

Tickets are on sale now for this limited run July 14-17 and July 19-24.

Order tickets by stopping by the Highlands Playhouse Box Office or by calling (828)526-2695.
