The Overlook Theatre Company will be live on stage with “De-Lovely” bringing dinner and entertainment right to your table at the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts Feb. 3, 4, and 5, at 6:30 p.m. nightly.
“De-Lovely” opens at Club Cole where the food is hot and the music represents the cool sounds of the sophisticated 1930s. Sit back and enjoy dinner and a show while a cast of characters sing and celebrate the classic melodies of Cole Porter, including such hits as “Anything Goes,” “You’re the Top,” and “Be a Clown.” The audience is invited to relax, enjoy dinner, or even sing along with the cast and musicians, all served live and on stage.
Limited seating available for this special show, so make your reservations early. The menu includes slow roasted pork BBQ with a sweet and tangy gourmet sauce, crisp red cole slaw with a hint of citrus vinaigrette, brown sugar baked beans, yeast rolls, your choice of sweet or unsweetened tea, and apple cobbler a la mode.
Tickets are $25 and are now on sale at the Center box office at 1028 Georgia Road in Franklin, at Dalton’s Christian Bookstore in Franklin and Waynesville, and online at GreatMountainMusic.com, or call(866)273-4615.
