The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Franklin's Performance Series, "An Event For All Seasons", will feature internationally acclaimed harpist, Valerie Von Pechy-Whitcup, her student Margaret McCalister and UUFF member Bonnie Gramlich.
Von Pechy-Whitcup has been called a musical diamond, sparkling from many facets as a chamber musician, symphony harpist, soloist, composer, studio musician and gifted teacher.
On Friday, Aug. 26, at 6 p.m., Von Pechy-Whitcup and one of her students, Margaret McCalister, will perform as a duo on the sanctuary stage of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Franklin. Joining them will be Bonnie Gramlich reading from a collection of seasonal poetry and prose.
Their performance will be the second event in UUFF's "An Event For All Seasons", series. Tickets are $15 and may be reserved by calling the Fellowship at (828)524-6777, the Chamber of Commerce, (828)524-3161 or purchased at the door the night of the performance. Proceeds benefit UUFF's Scholarship Fund.
Sweets, savories and beverages will be offered at an intermission. Childcare provided. The Fellowship is located at 89 Sierra Drive, off Lakeshore Drive, 1.2 miles from Hardees.
