Arts & Entertainment AMC’s Oktoberfest this Saturday

Michelle Hubbs presents Gary Shields, the winner of the best legs for Liederhose, with his winning sash following the fun competition at last year’s event. Photo: Angel Medical CenterThe upcoming Oktoberfest put on by the Foundation for Angel Medical Center, being held on Saturday, Oct. 8, at 6 p.m., at the National Guard Armory, will benefit the renovations for the Outpatient Medicine Department at the hospital.

Among the festivities will be a silent auction, an oompah band, contests, food, including marinated roast port, potato pancakes, and other authentic German food and drink. The event promises to be a great evening and is open to the public. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased from the hospital or any Foundation Board Member.

A great football package raffle will include four club seat tickets to the Bucs and Carolina Panthers, Dec. 4, at Tampa Bay, two rooms for two nights at the Westshore Hilton, and $500 cash. Tickets are $50 each or four tickets for $100.
