A drumming circle for all ages will be held Sunday, Oct. 16, at 3 p.m., on the Macon County Courthouse plaza, Main Street in downtown Franklin. Mary Eileen Ferrick is the circle leader. People may bring drums and rhythm instruments, or choose from the wide assortment provided, including African djembes, guiros, shakers, and buffalo drums.
Large take-home “can” drums will be provided for the children. Bring a lawn chair. In case of inclement weather the program will be held in the Rathskeller Coffee Haus, 58 Stewart Street, a block from the Courthouse.
