First Presbyterian Church, Franklin will present a music show for the community on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m., in Tartan Hall. Doors will open at 6 for tours of the historic chapel and an opportunity to view exhibits of church activities, such as quilting, needlepoint, jewelry creation, and the membership computer group. Free refreshments will be served after the show.
Toby Tobias, First Presbyterian Music and Worship Team Chairman, and Linda Beal, well known in the community as a singer, are producing the show. The White Family Singers, Arthea Brimmer, Carolyn Kidd, The Cousins, 5’O’Clock Shadows, the Chapel Band, Jill Welch on fiddle, and others, will perform a variety of music, from country, gospel, pop, and crooners.
The community is invited to attend. Free admission. The church is located at 26 Church Street, Franklin.
