The Overlook Theatre Company presents “The Wizard of Oz” Nov. 3-6 at the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts in Franklin, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with a Sunday matinee at 2:30 p.m.

Nikki Corbin plays Dorothy, the orphaned girl from Kansas.Almira Gultch, who hates small dogs and children, is played by Lindsay Wright.Professor Marvel (Mike McSwain) predicts the future for Dorothy, after she runs away from home. Glinda the Good Witch (Kathi Graham) flies through the air in the Land of Oz.The Munchkin Mayor (Sarah Shepherd) welcomes Dorothy to Oz.The Wicked Witch of the West (Heather Lenox) is ready to hop on her broom and fly away.Dorothy meets the Scarecrow (TJ Hanson).The Cowardly Lion (Robert Jessup).The Wicked Witch holds Dorothy captive with the help of the flying monkeys.The Wizard (David Spivey) rewards the Tin Man with a heart.The Poppies try to put Dorothy and her new friends to sleep on their way to Oz.“There’s no place like home” with Aunty Em (Kathie Eldredge) and Uncle Henry (Steve Crabtree).
