Little Big Town, a Grammy-winning country music group, will take the stage at the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m. Ticket prices start at $29 each and can be purchased online at GreatMountainMusic.com.
With record sales topping 1.5 million, four Grammy nominations, and multiple Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music Awards, Little Big Town is no stranger to success. Hits from their certified gold and platinum albums include, “Boondocks” and “Little White Church.” The group is also nominated this year as the CMA “Vocal Group of the Year” for the 4th year in a row.
Little Big Town has performed alongside such musical greats as Collin Raye, Sugarland, Carrie Underwood, and John Mellencamp. Unlike most vocal groups, Little Big Town’s four-part vocal harmonies do not feature a lead singer. The group is comprised of the same four members since it first formed in 1988: Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook, and Phillip Sweet. Their musical stylings have often been compared to 1970s classic rock group Fleetwood Mac.
