Full Spectrum Farms, Inc. of Cullowhee will hold a kiln opening and reception Saturday, Feb. 12, from 6:30 pm until 8:30 p.m. at the Farms’ office at 1301 Old Cullowhee Road.
The pottery program is a pilot cottage industry for Full Spectrum Farms. This nonprofit provides support to the Western North Carolina autism community.
Six potters will be on hand to meet guests and show their work. The potters are adults with autism. The pottery program is a fundrasing activity designed to increase the artists' self esteem and help fund other Full Spectrum Farms programs including a market garden and building trails at the Farms’ recently donated 34 acre farm.
