Children’s programs at the Macon library

— Monday, Oct. 22, 10 a.m. - Creative Family Time in the Macon County Public Library children’s area. Bring a small pumpkin to paint and wear old clothes. Painting supplies will be provided.

— Thursday, Oct. 25, at 4 p.m., The Youth Services department at the Macon County Public Library is starting a Duplo Family Club for younger kids 3 to 8 years old. The Duplo Club will meet the fourth Thursday of each month. Parents are invited to join their young person for an explosion of imagination designing a masterpiece for display. An adult must stay with the child.

Participants are asked to donate a small zip lock bag of Legos/Duplos to be added to the growing collection. The Clubs are still in need of donations which are greatly appreciated.
