‘Where’s Waldo?’ 25th birthday party at the library

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Where's Waldo franchise, Read2Me, The Western Mountain Reading Council, and the Fontana Regional Library hosted a special birthday party for children in the community.

Children were invited to visit with Read2Me Ralph, the therapy dog, and Waldo and his pal, Wenda.

While children participated in arts and crafts, story time, and even a Where's Waldo search through the library, parents were able to sit down for training on ways to “raise a reader.”

Children were able to sign up for library cards and were even given a free book from Read2Me and a “Where's Waldo” book donated by Books Unlimited.

Birthday party guests were also treated to cupcakes from Creating the Occasion of Sylva.
