Kathrine Cays, Artist in Residence at the Rickman Store, will be offering a fun art class for children and parents on Saturday March 5 from 1 to 3 pm.
Families are invited to share the experience learning about indigenous birds in the region and about the Great Backyard Bird Count.
The Count is an annual four-day event that engages bird watchers of all ages in counting birds to create a real-time snapshot of where the birds are across the continent and in Hawaii.
Cost for the class is $10 per student with a maximum cost of $20 per family, parents are free.
