In the mountains of North Georgia on the campus of Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School, students are flying high above the stage training for the school’s annual Cirque program.
This year’s performance, Cirque Ened Kemen, is a reimagining of Tolkien's “The Hobbit.”
Through the magic of circus arts and contemporary music, the audience will be guided through an epic journey of dwarves, trolls, and dragons.
This 12th Annual Rabun Gap Cirque will feature acts on the silks, Spanish web, lyra, trapeze, German wheel, and for the first time, the cyr wheel, and bungees.
This year's shows are subject to sell out, so mark your calendar and get your tickets early.
Performances and showtimes are April 25-27, 7:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. matinee on April 27. Tickets are on sale at www.rabungap.org/cirque.
