Two of Southern Gospel’s finest, Brian Free and Assurance with The Talleys, will be in concert at the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, July 26, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 each.
Brian Free and Assurance are known for such gospel songs as, “I Want to Be that Man” and “Save Me a Seat at The Table.” The group has received many awards and nominations and have appeared in 27 of the Gaither Video series productions. Brian Free is one of the most recognized tenors in the gospel music industry. Together with Bill Shivers as lead, Mike Rogers as baritone, and Jeremy Lile as bass, Brian Free and Assurance use their God-given talents to spread the message of the gospel everywhere they perform.
The Talleys are a family band consisting of Roger and Debra Talley, their daughter Lauren, and her husband, Brian Alvey. They are known for powerful songs such as, “Broken World” and “Hands of Grace,” and have received many music awards and nominations throughout their career. The Talleys have made nearly two dozen appearances on the Gaither Video series productions and have performed at such venues as Carnegie Hall and the Grand Ole Opry. Their close-knit harmonies and powerful vocals make their ministry one everyone loves to hear.
