Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Spring Summer Give Away will be held on Saturday, April 26, Saturday, May 10 and Saturday, May 24, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church 142 Pleasant Hill Rd., in Franklin. Baha’is of Macon County study on “Reflections on the Life of the Spirit.” This month’s topic will be “What is the Kingdom of God?” and will be based on the teachings of many faiths. The discussion, preceded by a potluck dinner will be held on Monday, April 28, 6 p.m. at Sunrise Hill, 796 Prentiss Bridge Rd., home of Nathaniel and Irene Witherspoon. Ellijay, Mtn. Grove and Higdonville Baptist Churches Spring Revival will be held on Sunday, April 27 through Wednesday April 30, 7:30 p.m. , at Higdonville Baptist Church on Ellijay Road. Rev. Billy Sellers will be the guest speaker. Special music nightly by various church choirs.

First Baptist Church will have Homecoming Sunday, May 4, at 10:45 a.m. Speaker is former Pastor and Brigadier General Bob Page. Music by Mountain Faith. The church is located at 69 Iotla Street. All are welcome.

First United Methodist Church will be celebrating National Prayer Day on May 1, with “Drive Through Prayer” from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. The event will be held in our lower parking lot at the corner of Main Street and Harrison Avenue. Come join us in one-onone private prayer. Your thoughts, concern and spiritual needs are welcome.

Lighthouse Baptist Church Special Gospel Concert by Archie Watkins and Rev. Eddie Deitz will be held on May 1, The National Day of Prayer, 7:30 p.m. This is a love offering concert. The concert will be followed by a special prayer time, on our knees and on our faces in prayer for our nation. The church will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for those who want to stop and pray.
