Riverside Fellowship Homecoming will be held on Sunday, Aug. 31, 10:30 a.m. Special singing by the Inman Family. Rev. David Brown will be the guest speaker. Dinner will be served after the morning service. The church is located on River Road in the Cullasaja Community.

Mount Sinai Assembly of God Church Homecoming Services will be held Sunday, Aug. 31, at 11 a.m. with singing and the morning worship service. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. Afternoon service will begin at 2 p.m. with special singing. Everyone is welcome.

Isaiah 55:1 “Unveiling the Bride” a study of the Song of Solomon will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Men and women are welcome to attend. Seating is limited. For reservations, call (828)524-8359.

St. Francis of Assisi New Journey in Faith to Share the Richness of the Catholic Church Sessions will begin on Monday, Sept. 8, 7 p.m. in the St. Francis Family Life Center, 299 Maple St. in Franklin. Learn what the Catholic Church teaches. These gatherings are for inquirers and are open to people who are unbaptized, as well as those who are baptized Christians from Protestant or Evangelical backgrounds. Sojourner’s Class through All Saints Episcopal Community in Franklin will be held on Saturdays, 9 to 11 a.m., through Oct. 25, in preparation for the Bishop’s visit in November.
