The Franklin Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated the re-opening of The Boiler Room with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
“All Aboard” is the welcome call in the Boiler Room Steak House. The Boiler Room is located in The Fun Factory at 1024 Georgia Road in Franklin.
The restaurant’s “new Appalachian cuisine” showcases seasonal and sustainable products from local vendors, and the upscale, southern menu features fresh seafood, vegetables, and hand-cut, wood fired “all natural” steaks. The menu also offers a “build your own burger” experience featuring a choice of breads, cheeses, and toppings.
New to The Boiler Room is a new menu along with a 60-foot buffet with more than 75 items on Friday and Saturday nights – come for dinner before the show at the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts. Browse the historical prints of Franklin and the history surrounding the Tallulah Falls Railway, watch the model train make its way through the restaurant (even with an occasional puff of steam), dine in the full size train car, and most importantly, relax and enjoy your meal in the Boiler Room Steak House.
Open for lunch 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and dinner 5 to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The restaurant is closed on Sundays except for special shows. Have a question? Give the staff of The Boiler Room a call at (828)349-5555.
