Features Drake appointed new general manager at The Fun Factory

Jonathan DrakeJonathan Drake is the new general manager at the Fun Factory in Franklin. A resident of Franklin, Drake is anxious to “crank up the fun” and excitement at the Fun Factory plus build a strong team to make the Fun Factory Franklin a great destination for entertainment.

Drake, a recent 2012 graduate of Bryan College, received his BS in business management, with a minor in Biblical studies.

“I was blessed and lucky enough to be selected for the job,” said Drake.

The Fun Factory Franklin originally opened in 2002, and before going to college, Drake worked at the prize counter, redeeming tickets in exchange for prizes. While at the Fun Factory Franklin he was promoted to shift leader with a multitude of responsibilities which provides him valuable experience for his role as manager.

Drake experienced working behind the scenes and built a reputation of dependability and willingness to work hard and pitch in wherever he was needed. This experience was a real benefit when he applied for the position.

Drake is making customer satisfaction top of his list. Interacting with customers and working with other staff members, he takes pride in making sure the necessary steps are taken to provide a fun, family-friendly experience for all ages.

On Aug. 4, the Fun Factory Franklin will celebrate its 10th anniversary of manufacturing fun. Along with a few other employees, Drake will be one of the original staff members from the opening in 2002 who will take part in the celebration.
