Features Curvy Girl Consignment, Country Buffett welcomed with Red Carpet Events

The store i slocated on the Highlands Road and is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.The Franklin Main Street Program officially welcomed a new business to the district with a Red Carpet Event on Friday, June 29. Curvy Girl Consignment has opened next to Vito’s Pizza on the Highlands Road.

Owner Amanda Haggard has opened the only plus sized consignment shop in Franklin. Curvy Girl Consignment features clothing in sizes XL/14 and up. In addition, shoppers will find plenty of accessories and shoes. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and new consigners are always welcome.

Country Buffett owners Kelly and Dayna Corbin are open for business Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch, and to 8 p.m. on Saturdays for dinner during Pickin’ on the Square.For additional information call (828)342-7020. You can also find Curvy Girl Consignment on Facebook.

The Franklin Main Street Program held a “Red Carpet Event” to officially welcome a new business to the district. Corbin’s Country Buffet, located next to the Macon County 24 Iotla Street, was welcomed to the Main Street District by board members of the Main Street Program along with family and friends. Corbin’s Country Buffet features all you can eat country cooking with different foods daily. Favorites include chicken and dumplings, fried fish, fried chicken and chicken livers, ham, turkey and dressing and more. You get all this plus drink and dessert for only $10 including tax.

Corbin’s is open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and for dinner on Saturday nights from 5 to 8 p.m. for Pickin’ on the Square. They are located at 24 Iotla Street. Call for more information at (828) 369-5964 or find Corbin’s Country Buffet on Facebook.

Red Carpet Events are an initiative of the Franklin Main Street Program to assist new business owners in spreading the word about their endeavor. In addition to “rolling out the red carpet,” businesses are treated to special signage for a week as well as a marketing incentive from the Franklin Main Street Program and 96.7 WNCC Radio.
