The Franklin Chamber of Commerce recently held a ribbon cutting to celebrate the expansion of Outdoor 76 to their bigger and better location at 35 E. Main Street in downtown Franklin. Owners Rob Gasbarro and Cory McCall are a vital part of the success of this new community-minded business on Main Street.
“We are all things outdoors. Our shop is a gateway for locals and visitors to be outdoors. We're not just about selling outdoor items” said Gasbarro. “We are also a true outfitter, offering everything from detailed area info on where to fish or hike, to paddling lessons and guided trips. We also offer kayaks, canoes, SUPs, and camping gear rentals.”
Outdoor 76 offers products such as hiking gear, kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddleboards, fly-fishing gear, tents, hammocks, camping and hiking necessities. One of their biggest attributes is custom fitting for footwear. Just inside the door is a great selection of men and women’s outdoor and outdoor lifestyle clothing at great prices. The most notable addition to Outdoor 76's offerings is the Rock House Lodge; offering fine craft beers on tap and bottled by some of the best local and national craft brewers. The store also shares a door with Smoky Mountain Bicycles.
Gasbarro and McCall invite you to drop by anytime.
“We are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday so everyone has an opportunity to come in,” Gasbarro said.
