At the upcoming Nov. 13, Ladies Night Out Program, the topic will be Diabetes Awareness. Guest speaker will be Jennifer Trippe, Registered Dietician with Macon County Public Health. She will discuss ways to reduce risk for developing Type II diabetes. Learn how you can take positive steps to stay healthier longer and reduce your risk of diabetes.
Ladies Night Out is a partnership between Macon County Public Health and Angel Medical Center (AMC) to provide free monthly programs on a variety of health topics for women with an emphasis on the importance of regular health screenings. The Franklin Bi-Lo and Fatz of Franklin are corporate sponsors of the programs and provide snacks and door prizes each month. Dodge Packaging Specialties, Inc. provides paper products.
This program will be held two times on Nov. 13 in the cafeteria at AMC. One will be at 4 p.m. and one will be at 6:30 p.m. The same presentation will be given at both meetings.
