Features Health & Wellness Emergency preparedness topic of next ‘Men’s Night Out’

Attendees of the Men’s Night Out Program on Jan. 22, were Steve Yust, Fred Ackerson and Arthur Altman.At the upcoming March 26, Men’s Night Out Program, the topic will be Emergency Preparedness.

The guest speaker will be Melissa Leatherman, Preparedness Coordinator for Macon County Public Health. Learn how to put together an emergency kit, make an emergency plan and be informed in Macon County.

The meeting will be at Angel Medical Center in the video conference room on the third floor, at 6:30 p.m.

Attendees of the Men’s Night Out Program on Jan. 22 were Steve Yust, Fred Ackerson and Arthur Altman.

Men’s Night Out is a partnership between Macon County Public Health and Angel Medical Center to provide free programs on a variety of health topics for men with an emphasis on the importance of regular health screenings.

The Franklin Bi-Lo and Fatz of Franklin are corporate sponsors of the programs and provide snacks and door prizes each month.

Dodge Packaging Specialties, Inc. provides paper products.
