James B. Bross assumes the position July 9.

Mission Health is pleased to announce the appointment of James B. Bross as President and CEO of Angel Medical Center, effective July 9th. Bross will replace Marty Wadewitz who has been serving as interim CEO since Tim Hubbs announced he was stepping down after almost four years at AMC’s top position in January.

Bross, an executive with more than 28 years of experience in hospital, health plan and healthcare consulting, will assume overall leadership and strategic vision and strategy for the hospital.

Bross comes to Angel Medical Center, an affiliate of Mission Health, from Applied Revenue Analytics in Temple, TX. Serving as Senior Director of Client Services, Bross led business development strategies - specializing in improving hospitals around the country with financial analytics.

The President and CEO of Mission Health System and Mission Hospital, Dr. Ronald A. Paulus, M.D., MBA visited Angel Medical Center (AMC) on Monday morning to speak to AMC's staff and members of the community about the partnership between the two entities.

Dr. Paulus, who assumed the position of President and CEO of Mission in September 2010, spoke to community members about the importance of continuing AMC's exceptional local care for the people of Macon County.

Jonathan Drake is the new general manager at the Fun Factory in Franklin. A resident of Franklin, Drake is anxious to “crank up the fun” and excitement at the Fun Factory plus build a strong team to make the Fun Factory Franklin a great destination for entertainment.

Drake, a recent 2012 graduate of Bryan College, received his BS in business management, with a minor in Biblical studies.

“I was blessed and lucky enough to be selected for the job,” said Drake.

The Fun Factory Franklin originally opened in 2002, and before going to college, Drake worked at the prize counter, redeeming tickets in exchange for prizes. While at the Fun Factory Franklin he was promoted to shift leader with a multitude of responsibilities which provides him valuable experience for his role as manager.
