Yoder honored for service |

Sen. John Snow was present at the Macon County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7339 meeting and reinstated his commitment to veterans and their programs. He was a key player in Macon County being selected as the home of a VA community-based outpatient clinic that recently opened.Sen. Snow presented Comrade Harry Yoder with the “Order of the Long Leaf Pine Award.” The Order of The Long Leaf Pine was created in 1965 and is the highest civilian honor an individual from the State of North Carolina can be awarded. Sen. Snow said that Yoder’s service over the past 30 years has been second to none and this award attested to his devotion and “outstanding” public service. |
