HCP presents holiday reading Print

The Highlands Cashiers Players present its annual Holiday Reading on Thursday, Dec. 11, at the Performing Arts Center in Highlands beginning at 7 p.m. Poems, stories and songs of the holidays will be presented to get all into the Christmas spirit.

Performing with some regular HCP performers will be Vangie and Curtis Rich, Ursula and Tony Long, Elaine Whitehurst, Jill Montana, Ellie Hogan and Betty Chesna; students Dawson Bryant, Avee Graham, Jessica Bryant and Matt McClellan.

Special music will be provided by nationally known harpist, Valerie Whitcup.

After the performance, all are invited for homemade desserts and cider. Pictured are Mary Adair Leslie, Dr. Ronnie Spilton, Jim Schulte and Jody Read at the Christmas Tree on the Hill, who will provide the Christmas tree for the Holiday Reading.

The public is invited and admission is free.
