Jackson County makes drug arrests |

Four individuals were arrested on Thursday, January 22, for drug related charges. Travis McKinley Trull, 28, listing a Silver Run Road address in Cashiers; Kendra Gibson Creson, 36, listing a Thompson Street address in Canton; Misty Dawn Ramirez, 31, listing a Needle Lane address in Fletcher; and Hector Mendoza, 25, listing a Needle Lane address in Fletcher were stopped at a checking station in the Whittier area. A canine alerted to the vehicle and an ensuing search resulted in the discovery of some controlled substances along with drug paraphernalia. Trull, Ramirez and Mendoza were charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony conspiracy. Trull and Mendoza are being detained at the Jackson County Detention Center under a $10,000 bond. Ramirez has been released on bond. Creson was charged with possession of a methamphetamine on jail premises, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and felony conspiracy. Creson has been released on bond. A total of 22.7 grams of methamphetamine were seized. |
