Not pictured, Teri Hansen, co-owner. The Franklin Chamber of Commerce, along with Mayor Joe Collins, recently held a ribbon cutting at Sassy Sisters Boutique located at 25 Macon Center Drive. Co-owners Kathi Graham and Teri Hansen wanted to bring a “fun, funky and fresh” ladies boutique to Franklin and did just that. “We offer unique, one-of-a-kind gifts and jewelry, handbags, jackets and t-shirts, candles and diffusers, coffee mugs and picture frames, tea forte and more,” said Graham. The two sisters have had a desire to open the store for a couple of years and are excited that it is finally a reality. “We want to be a destination for people here in this community who are looking for unique items, and we also want to thrive right along side all of the other wonderful local stores. I shop locally and am excited to offer another location and a wider variety for those who desire to do the same.” said Graham. Along with the concept for their store, Graham and Hansen also wanted to give back to the community. Each month, Sassy Sisters makes a donation from a percentage of the month’s profits to a different community ministry or non-profit organization. So far, they have made donations to Angel Medical Center’s digital mammography efforts, CareNet, and The Pregnancy Care Center. Hours are Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Visit their website at www.sassysistersboutique.com. |
