Structure demolished by fire during public safety training exercises

A public safety training exercise was held Saturday, April 21, at 70 Tranquil Drive off of Sanderstown Road.

Participating organizations included Southwestern Community College, Jerry Sutton Public Safety Training Center, Franklin Fire Department, Burningtown Fire and Rescue, Cowee Fire and Rescue and Mountain Valley Fire and Rescue.

The exercise culminated in the demolition by fire of the structure.
