News Chamber is accepting nominations through January 14 for annual recognition awards

The Franklin Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for three major awards, The Duke Power Citizenship and Service Award, Citizen of the Year and Club/Organization of the Year.

Nomination letters can be delivered to the Franklin Chamber of Commerce at 425 Porter Street or emailed to LindaH@ Franklin-Chamber.com. Nomination deadline is Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 5 p.m.

These awards will be presented at The Annual Awards Banquet and Chamber Annual Meeting on Jan. 21 at Tartan Hall. The evening will begin with hors d’oeuvres at 6:15 followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Dinner will be prepared by Chef Connie Grubermann of Oak Hill County Inn.

Corporate table reservations are available by calling (828)524-3161. Showcase your business to those attending the banquet by donating a door prize. Your business will be listed in the program and recognized from the stage.

Tickets are available at the Franklin Chamber for $25 per person. Seating is limited and advanced tickets are required. For additional information, contact the chamber at (828)524-3161.
