Couple wed 50 years

William Franklin and Marie Louise Blackburn O’Cain are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

The couple were married on June 17, 1961, in Orlando, Fla.

They have two children, Steven M. O’Cain of Crawfordville, Fla., and Daryl C. O’Cain or Raleigh, N.C., and three grandchildren.

The couple will celebrate at a family gathering in Beaufort, N.C. sometime in July.
