Daniel Hall, former Macon County 4-H teen leader and graduate of Southwestern Community College, has received his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Mexico at Albuquerque.
Hall, who now resides in New Mexico, was awarded a Bachelor of arts in history with minors in medieval studies, Naval Science, and a concentration in Russian history studies.
During his studies, Hall served as a Midshipman in the Marine Option Naval ROTC and also played rugby.
He has also earned a national certification as a personal trainer and will work in this area until his graduate studies begin when he will be pursuing a Masters degree with a concentration in medieval studies.
Hall is the son of Ann and Dale Hall of Sylva.
Hall is the grandson of Zeb Hall, of Franklin, the late Amie Hall, and the late Frank and Phyllis Jones of Avery County.
