News Community Bartender raising funds for families of fallen soldiers

Dan Price tends bar at the Franklin VFW Post 7339. He has been raising money that will be used locally for families of 15 fallen veterans and disabled soldiers of recent wars.

Recently, fliers have appeared in local stores asking that you donate a dollar and sign your name for a foundation called "Folds of Honor." It is a group that raises money for post secondary scholarships for children of fallen and disabled soldiers.

Through Budweiser of Sylva, the program is called "Here's to the Heroes.”

Price has taken in more than $700 so far and is matching out of his pocket dollar-for-dollar that’s donated through him.
