At the upcoming Sept. 27, Ladies Night Out Program, the topic will be ovarian/ cervical cancer awareness. Guest speaker will be Dr. Ashley Case, from Hope Women’s Cancer Centers. Hope Women’s Cancer Centers are dedicated to providing women with the best possible health care and specialize in gynecologic and breast cancer treatment.
Also, at the September LNO program, an opportunity to sign up for the BCCCP program will be offered, and, if you qualify, may schedule a mammogram for Oct. 25, at the LNO meeting.
A benefit Pancake Breakfast will be held at Fatz Café to benefit Ladies Night Out Gap Services on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 7 to 10 a.m. $7 per person.
Tickets are available at Angel Medical Center and Macon County Public Health or you can pay at the door.
Ladies Night Out is a partnership between Macon County Public Health and Angel Medical Center to provide free monthly programs on a variety of health topics for women with an emphasis on the importance of regular health screenings. The Franklin Bi-Lo and Fatz of Franklin are corporate sponsors of the programs and provide snacks and door prizes each month. These programs are held the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at AMC.
