Whitney Katherine Sellers and Andrew David Jacobs were married May 14, at Trinity of Fairview in Fletcher, N.C., with Wayne Dickert officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Karen Sellers of Fairview, and the granddaughter of Harold and Doris Sellers of Gastonia, N.C., and Russell and Bobbie Wyont of Dallas, N.C. The groom is the son of Larry Jacobs and Barbara Jacobs of Franklin and the grandson of Radford and Kate Jacobs of Franklin and the late Everett and Irene Mashburn.
Matron of honor was Meredith Crisp, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Liza Schillo, Hannah Bruce, Lindsey Bruce and Katie Henderson, friends of the bride.
Best men were John Nickel and Jordan Duke, friends of the groom. Groomsmen were Justin Golding, Aaron Simpson and Devin Wilson, and usher was Aaron Woleslagle, all friends of the groom.
A reception followed the ceremony in the church fellowship hall.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of UNC Asheville with Bachelor of Arts degrees in psychology and sociology. The groom is a 2011 graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in religious studies and a minor in communication. Both are currently employed at Samaritan’s Purse in Boone, N.C.
After a honeymoon at the Outer Banks, the couple resides in Boone.
