News Community ‘Natural burial’ topic of Eco-Forum Nov. 4

After Carol Motley visited funeral homes across the southeast, she believed folks should consider a more natural, affordable and creative alternative.

Join your friends and neighbors Friday, Nov. 4, to learn about Motley’s approach to a more organic end of life.

This free Eco-Forum program starts at 6 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, 89 Sierra Drive, Franklin. All are welcome to bring a covered dish to share at 5 p.m. Childcare available.

On Jan. 6, Barbara McRae will present “The Nature Around Us.” The Feb. 3 program will be on Beekeeping with Vern Davis from the Macon County Beekeepers Association.
