News Community Peak, Crisp marry in outdoor ceremony

Vanessa Sherié Peak and Dallas Kellen Crisp, both of Franklin, were united in marriage on Oct. 10, 2010 in a fall outdoor wedding at The Inn at Crestwood in Boone, N.C.

The couple’s pastor Scott Andrews of Alliance Bible Fellowship in Boone performed the ceremony.

 Jessica Mason, sister of the bride was Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids were Kelly Reitmeier of Franklin, and Sarah Balmer of Boone.

Flower girls were Charlie Smith-Johnson of Boone and Esabella Rudd of Braselton, Ga.

Kyle Morgan of Franklin was the Best Man.

Groomsmen were Dusty Mason of Franklin and Josh Brown of Boone.

Parker Vaughn of Franklin was ring bearer.

The reception was held in the dining room of the Inn and Jon- Paul Lacy of DJ Grooves was in charge of the entertainment.

The bride is the daughter of Michael and Janine Peak of Franklin and the granddaughter of Ray and Mildred Peak of Otto and David and Connie Zwiercan of Rutherford, N.C.

The groom is the son of Bill and Lynne Crisp of Franklin.

Vanessa was a 2005 graduate from Franklin High. Dallas graduated in 2006, and both graduated from Appalachian State University.

After a honeymoon trip to Negril, Jamaica. The couple reside in Asheville, N.C., where the bride is a family therapist with Family Preservation Services and the groom is an alternative energy technician with Sundance Power Systems of Weaverville.
