BI-LO revealed its newly updated store in Franklin, Wednesday, unveiling the latest in a series of renovations the company is making throughout its four-state footprint.
Attending the ribbon cutting ceremony were BI-LO’s Regional Vice President Sam Blaiss, District Director Jeff Parks, Store Director Lesa Jordan and the Franklin Chamber of Commerce. BI-LO Charities presented a $250 check to Franklin High School and another $250 check to the Franklin Chapter of the Vietnam Vets of America.
BI-LO is also planning exclusive customer events over the next few weeks, including a chance to win one of two 90-second shopping sprees or $500 gift cards; free cholesterol and glucose screenings for customers on Nov. 18; Family Fun Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3, featuring pictures with Santa Claus and giveaways; a “Fill the Truck” event to benefit Macon County Care Network on Dec. 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“Our re-designed store only affirms BI-LO’s pledge to offer customers unbeatable savings without having to sacrifice on quality or service,” said Blaiss. “Our investment in the Franklin community has grown stronger as we have not only provided them with an updated grocery shopping atmosphere, but we have also provided 15 new jobs at this location.”
