The Jackson County Public Library will host a free introductory yoga class in the Community Room on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at 7 p.m., taught by Corina Pia.
Pia teaches stress-reducing yoga by giving instruction aimed at increasing general well-being.
This yoga class will focus on easy postures, breathing techniques, and meditation, as well as body strength and balance. Yoga experience is not necessary.
Attendees are asked to bring a mat and wear comfortable clothing.
Pia is a certified yoga instructor and a certified yoga therapist registered with the national Yoga Alliance.
