The holiday season is a time for celebration, gathering of family and friends and gift giving. Often our celebration results in a tough impact on our environment. All are welcome to join in a group discussion of what each of us does to lessen the negative environmental impact of our holiday celebrations. This sharing circle is open to members, friends, neighbors, students, the general public, everyone.
Some topics we will talk about will be gift-giving, decorations, holiday greetings, special meals, rituals, etc. You are welcome to bring your ideas and any items or ways you have of reducing, re-using, recycling, re-purposing, re-thinking during the holiday season.
This free Eco-Forum program is Friday, Dec. 2, at 6 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, 89 Sierra Drive, Franklin. All are welcome to bring a covered dish to share at 5 p.m. Childcare available.
