News Community Custodian Swafford retires after 25 years

Swafford has worked as a custodian at Union School and South Macon Elementary.

“David Swafford has been a trustworthy and dedicated servant to the Macon County Schools for the past 25 years. Over the years Mr. Swafford has worked as a custodian at Union School and South Macon Elementary School. His honesty and integrity was a good example for all of those that he associated with,” said South Macon's Principal Tolly Bowles and Assistant Principal Allison Guynn of Swafford's retirement.

The staff at South Macon presented Swafford with a Michael Rogers print of Wayah Bald as a retirement gift during a special reception held in his honor.
