REACH of Macon County was presented with the Ellen Pence Program Excellence Award from The North Carolina Coalition Against Domestic Violence. This award recognizes a local domestic violence program that has remained focused on the empowerment of survivors of domestic violence and creates a place where survivors’ experiences are heard and acknowledged.
REACH of Macon County provides services to domestic violence and sexual assault victims and their families in both Macon and Jackson County. All services are free and confidential and include Shelter, Court Advocacy, Latino Outreach, New Choices (job and life skills), Counseling, Prevention Education, and 24 Hour Crisis Hot Line.
