Stephanie Paige Berger, M.D. and C. Brian Case were united in marriage on Oct. 16, 2010, in Birmingham, Ala. Berger is the daughter of Dr. Fred and Lee Berger; Case is the son of Charles Case of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and Jo Case of Naples, Fla.
A childhood friend of the bride’s father, The Honorable Robert S. Cohen of St. Louis, Missouri, officiated at the outdoor ceremony. The bride’s sisters, Jennifer Berger Brown and Amy Berger Richmond, were her Matrons of Honor, and Victoria Brown (Barrett), a childhood friend, was her bridesmaid.
Lee Conn, friend and business partner at Motus Motorcycles, was the best man. Case’s father, Charles, and Oliver Nowak, a college friend, were his groomsmen.
Berger is an assistant professor and pediatric hospitalist at The Children’s Hospital of Alabama in Birmingham/ UAB. She is a 1998 graduate of Franklin High School, completed her undergraduate and medical degrees at UNC-CH in 2002 and 2006, and finished her residency at UAB in Pediatrics in 2009. Case is the Vice-President and Head Designer at Motus Motorcycles in Birmingham. He is a native of Pittsburgh, PA, attended Penn State University and is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Case was the founder and president of Foraxis Design in Pittsburgh, Pa., which led him to become the Chief Designer at Confederate Motor Company where he designed the Wraith motorcycle. Currently he is designing the Motus MST, an American sport touring motorcycle.
Following a honeymoon to Los Cabos, Mexico, which included three days of sailing in the Sea of Cortez, the couple returned to Birmingham where they currently reside.
