Citizen and Rotarian of the Year among them
Franklin Daybreak Rotary presented three special awards at the last meeting of the current board of officers.
Teresa Ramsey was presented the Citizen of the Year award. Ramsey works tirelessly on the Macon County Foundation Board (which includes acting in the Mystery Theatre each year; at First United Methodist Church with the music ministry and the 30 Hour Famine and her current project, The Franklin Folk Festival.
Dale West was named Rotarian of the Year for her activities in Rotary and the donation of her kidney last year.
Alisa Ashe of KIDS Place received a $500 check to help continue the work for the abused children of Macon County.
