Last Saturday, Macon residents took to Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and Big Lots to donate school supplies for Macon County children.
Headed by Macon County School System employee Karen Norton and held in conjunction with tax-free weekend, school supplies, which began being distributed on Wednesday, were collected for students.
Last Saturday, Macon residents took to Wal-Mart, K-Mart, and Big Lots to donate school supplies for Macon County children.

Volunteers Ryan Norton and Lori Gunter helped man the post at the Wal-Mart Plaza.
Nine-year-old South Macon student Lakey Ledford stopped by to donate.
