POWs Henry, McNish presented with Medallions of Honor

The Board of Commissioners recognized two Vietnam Prisoners of War (POWs) for their service and sacrifice on behalf of Macon County in a special ceremony Wednesday afternoon.

The board presented Dr. Tom McNish and Nathan B. Henry with Medallions of Honor, the highest honor the board can award to an individual.

At the ceremony were (L-R) County Manager Jack Horton, Commissioner Jimmy Tate, Commissioner Ronnie Beale, Henry, McNish, Commissioner Kevin Corbin, Commissioner Ron Haven and Commissioner Bobby Kuppers.
